Adding the SERVE Center Feed to Your TruView Homepage

Just as you have an information box on your TruView homepage for “e-mail,” “Campus Announcements” and “Truman Today,” you can also add a box that will simply list all the SERVE Center volunteer opportunities and provide links to more information about them. Here are the EASY directions on how to do this:

Step 1:

From your TruView homepage, click on “Content/Layout” in the upper left corner.

Step 2:

Select a column to add the box in and click the button that says “Add Channel”.

(You can put the box anywhere there is an “add Channel” button, or you can even create an entire new column and put it there.)

Step 3:

From “Select Category,” choose News, then Institution.  Highlight “SERVE Center” in the box on the right and then click “add channel.”

That’s it! The SERVE Center box is now on your TruView homepage!
*If you don’t like where it ended up you can go back to Content/Layout and move it to another spot that is more visible.
