What is the Community Partner Appreciation Luncheon?

During the Big Week of Giving, the SERVE Center, the Center for Student Involvement, and Student Affairs sponsor a Community Partner Appreciation Luncheon. This event brings together community partners and campus faculty, staff, and student leaders in recognition of the outstanding community agencies that partner with Truman State University for service and service-learning projects. In order to show our appreciation to our community partners, this event includes a free lunch and a time of fellowship. We also hope to foster discussion on the direction of future public scholarship endeavors and the identification of critical community needs. The luncheon also feature the awarding of the “Community Partner of the Year Award.” All of the nominees are recognized for their contribution to the Kirksville community.
