Previous/Existing Service-Learning Projects:

    • Volunteer Income Tax Assistance: Students provide income tax assistance at no cost to students and community members

 

    • Science on Saturday: A day for kids to experience interactive classes about science

 

    • Recipe book creation: Nursing students compile a cookbook in conjunction with two food pantries using the goods supplied by the pantry

 

    • Nursing home assistance: Students work with local nursing homes to fill a specific need in their community

 

    • Teen sobriety nights: Volunteers work with a local teen resource center to plan and execute evenings that give high school students a safe place to hang out

 

  • Logo design services: Graphic design students work with a local agency to create new logos and business materials
